Snow

Yesterday we were forecast snow in the morning and then rain in the afternoon giving us a whole wet day.

The snow turned out to be more than we expected. It snowed from eight in the morning until one in the afternoon when it did indeed turn to rain.

It’s snowing

Luckily it was too wet to settle. The forecast is much milder for the next week which will be welcome.

We missed the snow, roll on some warmer weather.

  2. I was surprised it snowed so long here. It has been a horrible weekend, wet for the entire weekend. It is supposed to get milder now for the coming week so I am looking forward to that.

    No snow for us either.

Your garden looks so different in winter than it does in summer.

    • It is more of a summer garden but there are things beginning to come up though. The snowdrops have just started to flower. It always looks a bit sad in winter and I definitely prefer it in summer.

We had about an inch, added to what had not yet gone from the previous downfall. Hens staying inside, by and large!
