A tribute to Dandelion

Sadly we lost Dandelion yesterday. She was such a lovely girl. She was beautiful and so friendly and was not only top serama but was joint top girl with Speckles. No one messed with Dandelion and she got on with all the girls, bigger or little, but she especially had a really close friendship with Cinnamon.

We will miss her so much and I know that Cinnamon will miss her steadfast companion. We were lucky to have her for the time that we did. Goodbye sweet Dandelion.

Such a lovely girl – she will be very much missed! 🙁 This has seriously made me consider whether I should make a difficult decision about one of my girls too.

Hopefully Speckles will rise to the occasion and take Cinnamon under her wing.xx

I miss her already. She was little in size but was a big presence in the run. She had a very distinct, melodic voice, the prettiest voice of all the girls. She had a very queenly way of moving around and an adorably fluffy bottom.

Cinnamon has been sitting alone in the little shelter where they often sat together and it tugs at my heart to see this. She has also been spending time with Speckles though who is her best allay now.

I am sorry to hear you have a problem too. Feel free to e-mail me if you want to sound off to me. xx

You’ve captured, in photos, the very essence of that little bird, who has given you so much worry, but so much pleasure. Thoughts with Sophie, too.

I guess Dandelion has given me more worry than any of my girls but somehow it just made me more attached and she was such a sweetie.

Such a pretty, lovely girl, I know she is truely missed. Let us hope that the problem
    will now go away.

She is very much missed. I hope so much that the problem stays away as I don’t know what I will do with no treatment. I just have to hope for the best now.
