Today when my husband brought produce back from our allotment plot he also surprised me with some wild flowers from our plot. He cut the top off his plastic water bottle to transport them home in water. I transferred them to a little jug.

I was surprised to see how different the wild flowers in the jug looked the next morning.

They are lovely. Richard said there are so many flowers up there that he thought that I might as well enjoy them here. It was a lovely surprise. He also bought beetroot, carrots, tomatoes and dwarf beans. The chickens will enjoy the beet tops and carrot tops.

They are aren’t they. I was in the middle of a long chicken post when Richard came in with them and I thought they would make a lovely quick post while I read through my longer post ready for tomorrow. xx
