With the loss of Sugar my journey with seramas was at an end. I had decided not to have any more as they were so delicate and mostly not long lived. Sugar was my last serama and the oldest one at five years old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her going left me with six remaining girls which were all Pipinchick girls. Middle left, Red and to her right Snow. Bottom right, Storm and to her left Cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 12\/8\/25 we picked up two girls from Chickens To Your Door. We were back to my favourite flock number of eight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These two girls joined the rest of the flock with no problems at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 3\/3\/26 we had two new girls delivered by Pipinchick. Although we still had eight girls I had been keeping an eye on which breeds Pipinchick had for sale. They now had a gold sebright for sale which I had always wanted. They also had a gold pencilled wyandotte which I had also wanted for a while. I ordered them in January for delivery in March when they were four months old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carolschickens.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/popcorn-and-maple.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carolschickens.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/popcorn-and-maple.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41581\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carolschickens.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/popcorn-and-maple.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.carolschickens.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/popcorn-and-maple-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.carolschickens.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/popcorn-and-maple-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Popcorn a gold pencilled wyandotte and Maple a gold sebright<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They settled in really well and even put themselves to bed in their little coop on the first night with no help from me. They will be integrated with the rest of the flock once they can be moved from growers pellets to layers pellets.
