<\/a>Concrete was laid to fill out the chicken shed’s footprint<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/a>The fence panels between us and the next door neighbours are in place<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>As the neighbours have \u00a0decking up against the fence it keeps rotting and we have had to reinforce it in the past so it is now being clad with marine ply in front of our previous enforcement<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>The marine ply is concreted in so we should be able to keep rats out<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/a>I filled in the gaps with wire once more and we put back up a bedtime perch for the girls<\/p><\/div>\n
Their perch had been lost during the works so we have used a bit of trellis that we longer need. We will see what they make of their new bedtime perch later but they seem to quickly adapt to the changes.<\/p>\n
Rob will be back on Friday to do some fine tuning. Rob has worked with us since our chicken journey began three years ago. He built our original run, returned to extend the roof, returned to do some rat proofing (in the snow), \u00a0returned to extend our run last year and now returned once more for these works.
