The windows were one of the things that attracted us to this house. This means no double glazing though. We cope with thick, lined curtains and an open fire in the winter (as well as central heating).<\/p>\n<p>On cold mornings we have what my husband calls &#8220;ghosts on the windows&#8221;. The cold air outside and the warm air inside produce condensation while the drafts in the window frames keep pockets on the windows clear.
