We were talking about this while Jackie was looking at them on a recent visit and between us came up with the idea of putting them in a straight line.<\/p>\n
My husband had the idea of gluing them to a strip of wood as they don’t actually need a frame. He had a bit of wood in the shed left over from the new chicken nest boxes that was exactly the right width.<\/p>\n

He used a strong glue and we left them on the windowsill overnight to set.<\/p>\n

He also had a mirror plate that he could attach to the back to hang it up. As Steve and Yu Lee know we have a huge number of paintings all over the house and so don’t have much spare wall space.<\/p>\n
Another advantage of having these in a strip is that we have a strip of wall by our front door where they will fit perfectly.<\/p>\n

The coasters are now displayed on the wall by the front door. It would have been a shame to have them in a drawer and I am really pleased with the result.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
