At the top of the garden beside the chickens is a hibiscus that is one of the few shrubs that was already here when we moved in nine years ago. In that time it has doubled in size and also gives a splash of colour at this time of the year.<\/p>\n

We prune it back after it has finished flowering but it goes on getting bigger and bigger each year.<\/p>\n
