Signs of spring in the garden

It’s been cold, grey and often wet recently but it is encouraging to see some signs of spring in the garden. There are many different types of snowdrop and we have a few in our garden.

Lovely to see; primroses and crocuses in bloom here in the North East and a few bulbs showing signs of growth in my garden.

We also have primroses and crocuses in bloom and daffodils are up but not in flower yet, late this year. Lots of things are started to bud though which is always encouraging.

I’ve been thinking spring’s on it’s way too. Just seeing a bit of sunshine has been enough to make me feel generally happier and I’ve even had a couple of cups of tea out on the patio when it’s been sunny.

I found a single snow drop in our garden too!

We actually went for an hours walk this afternoon as it was sunny. It does make you feel so much better.

Wow, a single snowdrop! Mind you our biggest patch has spread and there are more each year which is lovely. Look after that single snowdrop.
