The arrival of our Granddaughter

Wildflowers from the allotment

My eldest son and daughter in law have boys of five and two. On Thursday 9th June at 7.07 in the morning their daughter arrived, three weeks early, weighing six pounds and nine ounces. Mother and baby are well and the boys are super excited about their new sister’s arrival.

This is wonderful happy news and we can’t wait to meet her.

Congratulations to the parents and to you. We have 3 sons, 3 grandsons and a granddaughter. Love them all equally – but my wife loves buying girls’ clothes! Fortunately, she is a girlie sort of girl. Enjoy; you’ll be so excited to see her – and her brothers, of course. 🙂

I have already posted them a parcel of things that are small, pink and pretty. So lovely to include dresses too. I can’t wait to see them all.

What lovely news and so good that there are no restrictions now and you can actually see her! xx

Such good news. Although being so early, all went well. Such a sweet little girl. I have the date now.Congratulations to you as well, for having a little granddaughter, as well as two little grandsons.
