I have often noticed that chickens like to sit up against something or even better in a corner. I think it makes them feel safe and secure. Today I was digging the run over when I noticed the three little girls sitting in the corner behind one of the gates.

They were sitting in here for a while and were preening together. I couldn’t get a photo of all three girls facing the camera but these two photos give the gist of them in their corner.
They do make me smile.
