I gave the girls some fish for their New Year’s Day treat.
The girls enjoyed their fish treat. Happy New Year to all my readers and families and pets. I hope 2017 is a good one for one and all.

And a happy new year to you too Carol! Hope you have some serama eggs soon!
xx
I keep on hoping for some serama eggs. They are not showing any signs of wanting to lay yet though. Today has been an awful day, it has rained non stop all day. Even though the run is fully covered it comes in the sides and most of the run is wet which I hate. I am hoping it will dry out a bit tomorrow and I will dig the run over. Luckily the seramas do seem to stick to the dry areas.
Looks as though the girls enjoyed their fish treat They seem to spend more time together now, or is it when there is food involved?
They do spend more time together. When the family were here yesterday they commented that the little girls seemed well integrated with the rest of the flock. I think that despite the difference in their size they are actually a pretty together flock apart from sleeping on their own perches and as we know the bedtime routine sorts out the differences. I think it’s a good thing that they know they are safe from any agro by sticking to their own perch which is also lower and easy to reach. On the whole I am happy that are a pretty united flock now.
Happy New Year to you and yours, Carol. Weather not helpful to our birds. Do hope you get some eggs soon – we’ve had 4 today, although neither VCotton nor Macaron have laid, so 6 laying at least. 🙂
Weather definitely not helpful. Lucky getting eggs, they seem to be a forgotten dream here. As long as they stay healthy though, I am happy. Happy New Year.
Happy New Year to you too ?
Thank you.
