A good year for berries

It seems to be a really good year for berries of all sorts. When I look out of our bedroom window the roses are now a mass of rose hips.

The climbing plants on the fence opposite our kitchen window are loaded with berries and they are so pretty.

Shiny red berries

Pink, mauve and blue berries

They remind me of jelly beans. I am not about to eat them any time soon though!

They are so pretty, what plant is that?

The red berries are pirocanthus. The coloured berries, unfortunately, I can’t remember what the plant is. It is a variegated climbing plant but isn’t evergreen. It has tiny white flowers that then turn into these three coloured berries. I will do some research and let you know if I identify it. It is very pretty.
